Respirators only work if they are the right type, worn correctly, and maintained properly. Our Respiratory Protection Training is designed to make sure your program delivers real protection instead of just paperwork.
We start with respiratory hazard identification - dusts, fumes, mists, vapors, and gases that are actually present in your work. Employees learn how and when those hazards exceed safe levels and why relying on "it looks clear" is not enough. From there, we walk through respirator selection in practical terms: when a filtering facepiece is appropriate, when you need a half-mask or full-face, and when supplied air or PAPRs are the right call.
Fit, seal, and comfort are addressed hands-on. We demonstrate donning, doffing, user seal checks, and common reasons masks fail in the field - facial hair, wrong size, poor adjustment. When requested, we can incorporate qualitative or quantitative fit testing so your documentation is complete and each worker's protection is verified.
Maintenance and storage are covered step by step: cleaning, filter and cartridge changes, inspection routines, and how to spot damage before it puts someone at risk. Supervisors receive guidance on written program elements, medical clearance coordination, and recordkeeping so your respiratory protection system lines up with regulatory expectations.
The result is a workforce that understands why respirators matter, uses them correctly, and supports your efforts to control chemical and particulate exposures. You gain stronger compliance, fewer respiratory complaints, and a clearer story to tell inspectors, clients, and insurers about how you manage airborne risks.
